John Ferguson Just like his previous album Impossible Things, this latest release not only highlights Corrie's talents as a fab drummer, but also as a great songwriter. The credits here on Bandcamp don't list the line-up of fantastic musicians who play on this, so I will! Rob Luft, Tom McCredie, Joe Wright, Laura Jurd, Matt Robinson, Joe Webb, Tom Moore, plus vocals from Dave Malkin, Marianna Sangita and the exquisite Alice Zawadzki, all make this a 'must have' in any collection.

Seas rise; you close your eyes You cannot hide. By turning tides, Washed away, washed away Sun swells, and scorches earth, Our home, is blistering Is burning, to the ground, to the ground Tick tock, you cannot stop this clock, ears covered It’s as I feared Can’t make you hear, can’t make you hear You scoff, and roll your eyes more lies, time flies When you’re having fun What have you done? What have you done?

woke up yesterday, head filled to the brim couldn’t keep it in decided to let it out - let it get some air.. and that’s where we met, me and her. she told me stories about her glory days and I listened like I had known her my entire life which.. coincidentally, I had. Although I didn’t know it, she knew. she told me there were things inside that I couldn’t hide anymore and she told me to reach in and grab them. pull them out. let them grow like plants grow from seeds and become trees. let them breathe. let them breathe. sinking into things that take over makes me feel life is heavy heavy on my shoulders but when she tells me not to worry I can’t help but believe her cause it seems like she knows me there are moments that haunt you but they should never ever ever take over cause they amount to things that evolve you and life gets better, I promise stick with me and let yourself breathe
